REPORT FROM THE ASSOCIATION FOR CONSTRAINT PROGRAMMING
This is a short summary of activities within the ACP during the months October-November 2016.

The ACP EC welcomes feedback and suggestions from the ACP community. We encourage you to engage with the ACP EC to help design new initiatives that promote constraint programming.
The 23rd International Conference on Principles and Practice of Constraint Programming (CP 2017) takes place in Melbourne, Australia, from August 28 to September 1. It will be collocated with the conferences SAT 2017 and ICLP 2017, and is preceded by the IJCAI 2017 conference. The conference will continue the successful format of thematic tracks, the doctoral program, workshop and tutorial programs, and much more. We are happy to announce that a team from CRIL - Univ. Artois will organize the annual conference on Principles and Practice of Constraint Programming (CP) in 2018, in north of France. The precise location is to be determined soon. The organising team will be chaired by Gilles Audemard and Christophe Lecoutre from CRIL, Univ. Artois, and will include Daniel Le Berre, Frederic Boussemart, Anastasia Paparizzou, Sebastien Tabary, and Cédric Piette.
The CP 2018 program chair will be John N. Hooker from the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University.
We are happy to announce that the 2017 ACP Summer School will take place September 18-22, 2017 in Porquerolles, France. The organizers are Marie-Jo Huguet (INSA Toulouse), Xavier Lorca (Mines de Nantes), Arnaud Malapert (Université Côte d'Azur), and Jean-Charles Régin (Université Côte d'Azur).
The main topics of the school are the hybridization of constraint programming and classical operational research methods such as mixed integer linear programming or local search as well as some of their industrial applications. In parallel, The school will feature a programming competition.
